Nestled in the heart of the Russian River Valley wine region, the "country-chic" Farmhouse is a Michelin One Star (*) restaurant, a top Zagat reviewed restaurant for the entire San Francisco Bay Area and has been a San Francisco Chronicle's Top 100 Restaurant four years running. Chef Steve Litke offers "sublime" seasonal California-French cuisine showcasing local, artisan ingredients. Maitre d', Christopher Fohner ensures Farmhouse's signature "pampering", "knowledgeable" service, as well as overseeing the ever-changing array of local and international artisan cheeses, served tableside. Wine Director, Geoff Kruth has assembled a "top-notch" wine list, of world-class wines, emphasizing the finest gems of Sonoma County. The Farmhouse also offers luxury accommodations for those who feel inclined to extend the experience. The restaurant at Farmhouse Inn has historically played the cornerstone role on our property. The food that we serve is sourced from Joe and Catherine's Bartolomei ranch or local artisan farmers and the menu is ever-changing and relies exclusively on not only what is fresh and of the moment in Sonoma County, but on what is perfect, unexpected and delightful. Our service is friendly yet infinitely professional and sophisticated, and carefully orchestrated down to the smallest detail. The wine program offers guests the opportunity to taste and experience not just the finest wines of the Sonoma and Napa wine country, but the wines that most perfectly suit and complement the dining experience we strive to create. Our decor is humble and elegant. Colors evoking old barn wood and aged stone, mixed with woolens and linens and encircled by a mural depicting scenes derived from the Bartolomeis' generations of family albums create an environment that is romantic and timeless.
